"OLD Glory" has been described as like vacationing in a tree house. It is mountain side, log cabin located in a quiet, secluded area on a semi private driveway. The twin decks with 4 rocking chairs and a romantic porch swing face the mountains and nature for you to enjoy-- there are no close neighbors to this Cypress log cabin, but you can walk up the driveway about a hundred-fifty yards to the pool in the Backhome cabin complex(in season). From the Cabin you can only see the roof of the cabin below you and the cabins in the distant mountains---this cabin is not in a resort complex or on a busy road, but on a 1 acre mountain side wooded parcel.
The main floor is has a spacious, open great room with a denim sofa bed, cozy wood burning fireplace and Television. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room which will seat 6 people, will meet your vacation needs. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, television, and a whirlpool tub for two to soak away your cares and a full bath room. A spacious private deck with a cozy swing and 4 rocking chairs to relax and look out into the mountains
The downstairs consists of two separate bedrooms with full size beds, televisions and a full bath. In addition, there is a game room with a pool table, television and 2 futons, plus a washer and dryer. There is also a deck off of this level complete with chairs. This deck offers a more wooded view with comfortable Adirondack chairs with foot rests.
This lovely cabin has something for everyone to enjoy, and it is especially suited to families. Located just a couple of miles off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, you can be at Dollywood or Splash Country in mere minutes or downtown almost as fast to enjoy all the Smokey Mountain restaurants, the shopping, the shows or the other attractions.
